Above are my eight personal journals. Ranging from 2013 - 2024, these journals have served as a safe haven for all my thoughts, feelings, musings, complaints, and concerns throughout my life.
Each one unique from the next, these journals allowed me to experiment with words, with ideas, and with identities—a gift I will never be able to repay. Below you can access various drawings, writings, and miscellaneous artifacts found within the pages of my journals.
Images and Artifacts
I have chosen to include a selection of drawings, artifacts, and other miscellaneous idiosyncrasies from my journals in the hope that it helps further contextualize your experience with the project.
My best rendition of the pattern used for a crochet top that I made my best friend, Sydney. | The ticket from my very first concert, Fall Out Boy. |

Another drawing in which I include poppies. This time we can see some other creatures alive in the scene. | Page 1 of a collage I made after a trip to New York City with my roommates. |
A cute little frog! | Some doodles, likely drawn from Pinterest tattoo ideas. |
A quick sketch of my tattoo idea that I ended up sending to my tattoo artist/designer. | Ticket stubs from my train trip to Chicago to visit my grandma, Honey, during my Fall Break. |
Tattoo ideas (I have since gotten the tattoo on the bottom!) | A quick sketch of poppies—planning for a future tattoo. |
Yet another tattoo inspiration picture. | Receipt from Pinball Pete's arcade in Ann Arbor. |
Tattoo idea for my best friend, Sydney. | Page 2 of a collage I made after a trip to New York City with my roommates. |
Meet your librarians.
None of this work would have been possible without the tireless work from these lovely librarians. Each one of these humans was absolutely essential in the creation of this project, without whom this could never have taken shape (most likely remaining a shapeless blob far past the end of time).
My next journal...
I have no plans to slow down, with journal number 9 coming in hot on journal 8's tail. I began writing in these pages on 9/13/2024, and have since filled up over half of them with the words of my ever-present internal monologue. Though I can't be sure, I am projecting to finish this journal sometime in the early new year (February is my best guess).
The one thing I am sure of, however, is that I do not plan on stopping this project anytime soon. No, I do not plan to continue conducting the content analysis. Nor do I plan to upload as much content per journal that I have so far. I also don't plan on using this website as an up-to-date source for my musings. (It turns out there are a lot of things that I don't plan on doing...) What I can promise is that I will continue to write, and that I will be back. Whether that is in the form of another multimodal project, a poetry book, or a novel; though, that is not to say it couldn't be something else entirely.
Thank you for being here.
